Fun and fright in October!

Looking for some things to do in October to celebrate Fall and Halloween? We’ve curated a list of some things to do in Atlanta and North Georgia. Whether you’re looking to feel spooked or something to do with kids, there’s got to be something for you!
1. Annual Fall Farm Day at Smith Plantation
Want to know what it’d be like back in time on a 19th Century farm? You can at the Smith Plantation. You’re in luck with this Roswell day of fun! October 13th, there will be lots of fun for the whole family filled with crafts, scavenger hunts, wagon rides, and a petting zoo with farm animals!
2. Georgia Mountain Fall Festival
We all love some good scenery during the Fall! Check out the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival from the 12th of October through the 20th! There is no better place to be than the North Georgia Mountains during this time. In addition, there will be musical performances, Arts & Crafts vendors, and Georgia’s Official State Fiddlers Convention
3. Little Five Points Halloween Parade
Get ready for one of the wackiest and fun parades in Atlanta! Little Five Points Halloween parade has tons of spooky floats and crazy costumes. You don’t want to miss this festive Halloween event on October 20th!
4. Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival
They are hosting a pumpkin festival until October 28th! It’s a family favorite event where you “play all day, glow by night!” Lots of fun games, attractions, live shows, and even pumpkin cookie decorating!
5. Fright Fest at Six Flags
In the mood for something scary? Six Flags, once again, has their spooky Fright Fest going on until October 31st. Enjoy all the fun rides during the day, but when night comes, get ready for an evening of horrors! There will be several haunted houses and scare zones throughout the park.
6. Georgia A-Scary-Um
Love the Georgia Aquarium? On October 31st, Children wearing costumes get free admission at the Georgia A-Scary-Um! What a fun play on words. Musical monsters to spooky spirits (adult beverages), there’s something for everyone!
